Pop & Gran's Antiques and More welcomes you to our web site. Feel free to contact us for more information regarding items offered for sale listed at the bottom of this page. We accept payments via Paypal. We offer free shipping on some small items and ship anywhere in the USA (except furniture). Furniture is pick up only. Inquiries are welcome!

In addition to selling "old stuff" and wire art, we also offer farm fresh eggs and garden fresh, organically grown produce available seasonally. Unfortunately, this year our garden did not "make". Coyotes killed off most of our flock of guinea hens and without guineas to eat up the grasshoppers, the grasshoppers ate up all the foliage (tomato plants, okra and blackeyed peas. We hope next year to offer tomatoes, black-eyed peas, okra, squash and onions which are a staple in our garden each year. We have a flock of hens and they provide farm-fresh eggs everyday. We call our hens the "Sisters" and they are big pets. Photos of the "Sisters" can be seen at www.AntiqueAlleyTexas.com - click on the Vendor link and scroll down to the Eggs listing. They are free range (which means they get to run all over the place) until the tomatoes get ripe, then back in the hen yard they go! They have their own secure hen house where they go when it gets to be roosting time. Their "doggy door" is shut down every evening keeping the hens safe from coyotes, owls and other predators. We bring the eggs to town and sell the heck out of them!

Now, back to our store: In the very heart of downtown Grandview you will find the Farmers & Merchants National Bank building that was constructed in 1904. In 1999, Lisa & Nita and sister Carla purchased the Farmer's & Merchants Bank and christened it " Pop & Gran's Antiques and More". We are located on the southeast corner of Criner and Third Street (HWY 81 at FM 916).

If you like old stuff, you'll enjoy browsing our eclectic collection of items. We don't claim to know everything about antiques and collectibles, but we love history and all the things associated with our Texas heritage. Some of our favorite things are kitchenware, vintage costume and estate jewelry, primitive furniture, vintage clothing & hats, old prints and paintings, advertising collectibles, miscellaneous ephemera, ceramics and books! We are always on the lookout for most anything that is western! Occasionally we will run across a saddle, old harnesses, horse collars and tack, or we might find interesting farm implements and tools to put in our store. We have even been known to have vintage car parts in stock! You can always find a little junk on hand too!

Our inventory changes as we find new treasures. When you visit our store, you might see a collection of old books rescued from the attic of an old farmhouse, or windows and doors salvaged from an old church being remodeled.

Pop & Gran's Specialty: One-Of-A-Kind Handmade Wire Art.
Each one is different from any other and is limited by only our imagination! Stained glass, wire, costume jewelry and recycled old stuff are the main ingredients! If you are looking for a special gift or something fun to hang in a sunny window this is the place to shop! If you see something in one of our photos that you like, give us a call and we will tell you all about it! If the item pictured has not sold, we'll be glad to set it aside for you.

Call Before You Haul! Shop by chance or by appointment. We are open during the week sometimes and most Saturdays. Call ahead if you are thinking of coming to Grandview and we will be glad to set a time to meet you.

Presented here is a Globe-Wernicke Sectional Bookcase commonly called a "Lawyer's" Bookcase. It was made in Cincinnati. There are 5 pieces to complete the assembly. The hardware is all original and the veneer has minor chips and worn places. Considering the age of the piece, it is sturdy and in very, very good condition. This bookcase has had one owner, my Great Aunt Maxine Branton-Robinson. She was born in 1918 and died in 2003. My Mother inherited the bookcase, and then it came to me. The base section has a piece of tape on it with my Aunt's name listed for the original order for the bookcase. I'm unsure as to when she bought it, but it could have been around the time she married which was in September of 1943. Dimensions are: 49½ inches tall, 34½ inches wide and 11½ inches deep.

I am asking $800.00 (firm) and sales tax does apply which brings the total to $866.00. Pick up the piece at our shop - sorry, no delivery available. I was advised to retail this piece at $1250.00 but I wish to move it as quickly as possible. I invite you to come have a look! You can see the bookcase in our showroom. Call ahead as we do not keep regular hours. To make an appointment call Lisa Hill at 817.240.4948 or email at moc.snarGdnapoP@ofni.

There is a tiny tear on the top right corner of the spine and also a tiny tear on the top left side of the spine. There is a tiny tear on each corner of the front cover. The over all condition is good to very good for the age of the book and there is normal wear with some fading on front and back. The binding is good and all pages are in very good condition with only a couple of pages showing slight discoloration. The book measures 8 inches tall by almost 6 inches across. There are 335 pages.
